TapIt! Media is seeking talented, creative and motivated individuals to support our software development efforts for our new office in Rockville, MD. Responsibilities include the design, development and support of software and business critical systems for our various product offerings.

We are looking for full time, in-house developers only. Our office is in a great location. Metro access within walking distance.

Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop software for key system components including ad server, user experience, reporting, optimization, and analytics 
• Assist in the design and development of new services in accordance with technical roadmaps 
• Support operations engineering staff with troubleshooting 
• Communicate project status to stakeholders throughout the business 
• Perform other activities and duties as requested 

Qualifications: 

• Experience coding with Java
• Knowledge of LAMP stack technologies
• Strong Knowledge of database design and performance tuning
• Experience with Amazon AWS services a plus
• Experience with ad serving platforms a big plus
• Experience with MongoDB a plus

Skills: 

• Detail-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to develop and test software using industry best practices 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think logically 
• Comfortable in a small, intense start-up environment 
• Ability to manage ones own time efficiently
