Technical Lead

If you have an appetite for new technology and a desire to be part of a rapidly growing company, then OpenCrowd is for you.  As Technical Lead, you will be responsible for architecting and building solutions for our clients. In this role, you will improvise on concepts, craft innovative solutions and roadmaps to launch.  In addition, you will mentor team members and will be the lead investigator of new technologies. 

Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience leading web application development efforts using Java and RIA technologies
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate and Spring
• Strong Object Oriented Design and experience developing high-performance systems and web sites (caching, performance, messaging, serialization, etc)
• Experience with AJAX development (YUI, JQuery, Dojo, etc)
• Working knowledge of Django/Python is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of RDBMS database design and performing data extractions, conversions and manipulations. Worked with at least one of the following: Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Ability to pick up new emerging technologies to use on client projects
