POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated and self-driven senior developer who can work with semi-distributed teams of product managers, UI designers and other developers. You will develop and implement efficient, reusable and flexible UI components using object-oriented JavaScript, CSS3, AJAX, AngularJS and HTML5. You will tackle challenges of fixing browser-specific problems and site speed issues. You will also be called on to handle second level tech and customer support.

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  •       JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3: Extensive experience in client side development and related technologies. Knowledge traits should include: browser compatibility including approaches for graceful degradation (IE and older browsers), Javascript optimization and compilation, client server communication approaches (AJAX, Websockets, EventSource, etc), client side security issues (XSSI, XSRF, encrypted cookies, client side encryption a plus), expert at DOM manipulation and related frameworks including Javascript templating engines, maintaining client state in complex web applications, responsive design
  •  5-10 years relevant work experience
  •  Four Year Technical Degree (CS, EE, CE, etc) or equivalent experience
  •  Passion for Technology
  • Strong Communication Skills (in person, virtual, and written)

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Framework/API Experience
  • Angular.js / Ext JS
  • Mapping APIs: Google Maps / Google Earth / OpenLayers
  • D3.js
  • LESS / SASS / Compass
